The Knabstrup Nøddebo tableware in brown was produced 1966–1972 as Knabstrup's first stoneware tableware. The tableware was designed by Johannes Hansen, artistic director at Knabstrup Keramik from 1953–1970.
The warm brown reactive glaze and the grooved details give the frame its characteristic, rustic look.
As the Nøddebo set is hand-glazed stoneware with reactive glaze, colors and glazes vary slightly from set to set. This is a natural part of Knabstrup's production and is considered part of the set's charm and originality.
The sets appear in beautiful vintage condition without chips or cracks. A beautiful and period-typical example of Danish 60s–70s stoneware design from Knabstrup.
