Aluminia porcelain candle holder no. 3091 – Ø 12.5 cm

Elegant and minimalist candle holder from Aluminia, model no. 3091 produced in 1968.
Made of light blue-grey glaze with a dark edge - the "blue edge" series - a simple and timeless expression typical of Danish mid-century design.

Aluminia became part of Royal Copenhagen and is known for their high-quality faience and stoneware production. The same type is also sold with Royal Copenhagen's stamp, but this one was made before the merger of Aluminia and Royal CPH.
Designed by Grethe Meyer, whose logo is also visible at the bottom.
