Antique English earthenware plate with classic blue transfer print, most likely made in the Staffordshire area in the late 19th century. The plate is decorated with a romantic landscape motif with a village, church and trees surrounded by a richly detailed floral border.

A beautiful and period example of Victorian transferware, where copper printing and craftsmanship give a soft, vibrant expression. A decorative and authentic antique plate suitable for wall hanging, display cabinet or collection.
