Elegant antique 3-arm candelabra from Danish Hans Jensen & Co., made of silver-plated EPNS (Electro Plated Nickel Silver).
The surface has an original factory-patinated antique finish with warm olive/champagne-colored nuances in the delimited ornamental fields. The play of colors follows the lines of the casting and appears as a deliberate decorative surface treatment, typical of the period's Baroque/Rococo-inspired silver-plated objects. The surface appears matte-lacquered/protected and should therefore only be cleaned gently and avoid polishing with polish.
The candelabra has a beautiful, robustly cast design with organic forms inspired by Art Nouveau and Neo-Baroque, which were characteristic of the first half of the 20th century.
Hans Jensen & Co. was known for their high quality in silver and silver-plated utensils, and their products remain sought after among collectors and interior design enthusiasts.
The condition is good with normal signs of age and use. There is light patina in the candle cups, which is natural for its age. No visible cracks or major damage.
