Faience shaving and toilet box from Europe – circa 1890–1910

Antique shaving case in an elegant oval shape with lid. A beautiful and period toilet case, originally used for shaving tools or personal toiletries.

Made of white faience (glazed earthenware) with blue trim and fine gold details. Divided into compartments on the inside, which supports the original function. Natural craquelure and patina in the glaze give an authentic and charming expression.

Condition: Used, antique condition. Clear age-related cracking in the glaze, wear on the gold rim and lid knob. No cracks or restorations observed.
