Classic Arabia Ruska teapot in heavy stoneware designed by Ulla Procopé. The dark, reactive glaze in deep brown and rust tones makes each pot unique and provides a beautiful, vibrant play of colors both outside and inside.
The model has an integrated strainer in the spout and a solid lid with a low, round knob. The strong cylindrical shape and the character of the glaze point to an early version from the 1960s.
An iconic example of Finnish modernism, combining functionality and natural materials. Perfect both as a utility jug and as a decorative part of a Nordic or Japanese-inspired home.

Condition: Very nice vintage condition with no visible chips or cracks. Intact strainer in spout. The glaze appears healthy with natural variations from the firing. The teapot does not have a logo. Probably because it is the very early version.
