BOMA Canadian jewelry box with totem motif - made in Canada

Small decorative jewelry box from BOMA Manufacturing, Canada. The box is made of dark resin with relief motifs inspired by the native art traditions of the Northwest Coast (totem and animal motifs).

BOMA produced a range of crafts and souvenirs from Vancouver inspired by Haida and Tlingit art, particularly from the 1960s to the 1980s. The motifs on the lids and sides depict stylized animal figures and traditional shapes known from totem poles and Northwest Coast imagery.

A nice little box for jewelry, small items or as a decorative item.
