Earthenware bowl, handmade - folk art - vintage, Southern Europe

Vintage faience bowl, handmade with an openwork rim and painted with a floral motif in bright colours.

The back of the bowl has a hole for hanging, so it can be used both as a wall decoration and as a serving dish/table decoration.

Material: Faience (hand-painted, glazed earthenware)
Period: Approx. 1950–1980
Origin: Presumably from Southern Europe and studio pottery

Dimensions:

• Height approx. 6 cm
• Diameter approx. 30 cm

Condition:

Beautiful vintage condition with natural crazing in the glaze and normal wear and tear (as expected for older faience).
There is a tiny chip on the side. Barely visible. And normal wear and tear on the bottom.
