Henry Heerup – Anniversary Talk 1967 – illustrated art book

“Jubilæumssnak” (Anniversary Talk) from 1967, illustrated by Henry Heerup – a fine and characteristic little art booklet from one of Denmark's most beloved modernists.

Published in connection with Laur. Knudsen's 50th anniversary (1917–1967) and illustrated by Heerup with his recognizable, imaginative style. The booklet is made of wood-free offset paper, and Heerup's illustrations would look great framed.

The cover, featuring the iconic horse, is a beautiful example of his simple, strong linework.

The book contains text by Mogens Balslev and illustrations in black and white. A collector's item for Heerup enthusiasts, as well as for collectors of Danish graphic design and art books from the 1960s.
