Holmegaard “Astro” paperweight – The Crab – Torben Jørgensen, 1990

Holmegaard "Astro" paperweight with the zodiac sign Cancer, designed by Torben Jørgensen and produced in 1990. Part of the popular astrology series from Holmegaard Glassworks.

The paperweight is made of solid, clear glass in a hemispherical shape with a cast relief motif of Cancer. The characteristic design combines graphic simplicity with sculptural weight and is typical of Holmegaard's design language around 1990.

The series was not signed, which is correct for this model. Dimensions and execution are consistent with Holmegaard's catalog from 1990.
