Antique J.M.P. Bell & Co Blue and Willow tureen with lid

Very beautiful, impressive and large antique tureen with lid from J.M.P. Bell & Co from Glasgow, Scotland (John & Matthew Preston Bell & Co) in the classic Blue Willow pattern, weighing 3.6 kg. J.M.P. Bell & Co was active from 1855-1880. Stamped on the underside.

Condition:
The tureen and lid are complete, but the tureen has a crack running through it. There are signs of use as expected with such an antique item. Therefore, it is sold as a decorative item and not for use with food or liquid. There are a few places where a small amount of glaze is missing. Common age-related crazing in the glaze. But otherwise, it looks really beautiful as a decorative piece.
