Authentic Kalaallit art in the form of a Greenlandic soapstone figure depicting a grouse, hand-carved and signed at the bottom “TJ / Nuuk”. The figure was made by Therkild Josefsen , who lived and worked in Kapisillit for a period, which explains variations in his signatures. A classic example of Greenlandic/Kalaallit design with a beautiful, natural patina and a calm, timeless expression. A collector's item.
Good vintage condition with normal age-related wear and patina. No cracks or repairs.
