Charming vintage jars from Knabstrup Keramik for storing jam or marmalade.
The jars are made of classic Danish kitchen ceramics with humorous text and decorative illustrations, which were popular in many Danish homes in the 1960s-70s.
The jars have a dark wooden lid and decoration on the front with the text “JAMMED CLOTHES” and “MARMELADE” respectively. One variant has the text “Don’t put more in your mouth than you can yawn over”, while the other has a classic rhyme about marmalade.

Stand Fine vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. Wooden lid with light patina.
The jam jar has small chips at the bottom that do not affect its use or visual appearance.
