Knabstrup Nøddebo – also known as Knabstrupsetlet brown – was produced at Knabstrup in the period 1966–1972 as the factory's first stoneware set. 2nd grade
The series was designed by Johannes Hansen, artistic director at Knabstrup Keramik 1953–1970.
The teapot has the characteristic nut brown reactive glaze with small natural variations, as well as the recognizable fluted details on the lid and rim. It appears to be 2nd grade, but is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The base is unglazed, which is probably what has led to the 2nd grade.
Height: 14.5 cm
