Vintage ceramic jug by the Danish ceramist Leo Enna (1902-1976).

The jug is made of light glazed ceramic and hand-decorated with a colourful floral motif in green, pink, blue and yellow shades, as well as brown decoration around the neck. The handle also has hand-painted decoration.

Signed on the bottom "Leo Enna Danmark" and a number, which reads as 706, probably a model number. In addition, there is a smaller mark, which is probably the decorator's signature.

From 1954, Leo Enna had a workshop in Dynt's old school in Southern Jutland. The jug is therefore likely to be from the Dynt period, approx. 1954-1974.

An online search shows a teapot, model 713, documented with a very similar multi-coloured floral decoration.

A bit of history:
In the 1950s, Leo Enna's workshop was a popular destination for the Danish princesses, including the later Queen Margrethe, when the royal family stayed at Gråsten Palace in the summer.
