Lyngby Glas Tosca cognac glass in crystal with wide chiseled gold rim, 1960s

Beautiful Tosca cognac glass from Lyngby Glas. Classic model with a wide chiseled gold rim made of Bohemian crystal glass. The gold rim is a pantographed decoration, which gives it a characteristic, relief-like and fuller appearance than ordinary gold luster.

The series is known for its elegant shape and distinctive gold rim, which appears exclusive and clearly defined.

• Height 8.5 cm
• Diameter 4.5 cm
• Weight approx. 50 grams
• Gold rim 1 cm

Condition: The glasses are in very good condition with a nice gold rim, however, there are minor signs of wear on the inside of the glasses due to age.

Contrary to what many sources claim, the Tosca series was imported from Moravske Sklarny, Kvetna from approx. 1960 onwards. This is documented in an article published by the Glashistorisk Selskab Aalborg.
