Lyngby Glas Tosca port wine glass in crystal with wide chiseled gold rim, 1960s

Beautiful Tosca port wine glass from Lyngby Glas. Classic model with a broad chased gold border made of Bohemian crystal glass. The gold rim is a pantographed decoration, which gives it a characteristic relief-like and fuller appearance than ordinary gold luster.

The series is known for its elegant shape and distinctive gold rim, which appears exclusive and clearly defined.

• Diameter 5.2 cm
• Weight approx. 50 grams
• Gold rim 1.4 cm

Condition: The glasses are in very good condition with a beautiful gold rim, although there are minor signs of wear on the inside of the glasses due to age. However, the outer gold rim is in good condition.

The Tosca series, contrary to what many write, was imported from Moravske Sklarny, Kvetna from approx. 1960 onwards. This can be seen in an article published by Glashistorisk Selskab Aalborg.
