Lyngby Glas Tosca red wine glass in crystal with wide chiseled gold rim, 1960s

Beautiful Tosca red wine glass from Lyngby Glass. Classic model with a wide chased gold border made of Bohemian crystal glass. The gold rim is a pantograph decoration, which gives it a characteristic relief-like and fuller appearance than ordinary gold lustre.

The series is known for its elegant shape and distinctive gold rim, which appears exclusive and clearly defined.

• Gold rim 1.5 cm

Condition: The glasses are in very good condition with a beautiful gold rim, however, there are minor signs of wear on the inside of the glasses due to age.

The Tosca series, contrary to what many write, was imported from Moravske Sklarny, Kvetna from approx. 1960 onwards. This can be seen in an article published by Glashistorisk Selskab Aalborg.
