Lyngby Glas Tosca red wine glass in crystal with wide chiseled gold rim, 1960s

Beautiful Tosca red wine glass from Lyngby Glas. Classic model with wide chiseled gold rim made of Bohemian crystal glass. The gold rim is pantographed decoration, which gives the characteristic relief-like and fuller appearance than ordinary gold luster.

The series is known for its elegant shape and distinctive gold edge, which appears exclusive and clearly defined.

Goal:

• Height 12 cm
• Diameter 7.5 cm
• Weight approximately 75 grams
• Gold edge 1.5 cm

Condition: The glasses appear in very good condition with a beautiful gold rim, however there are minor signs of wear on the inside of the glasses due to age.

The Tosca series was, contrary to what many people write, imported from Moravske Sklarny, Kvetna from around 1960 onwards. This can be seen in an article published by the Glass Historical Society of Aalborg.
