Black-fired ceramic jug from Mohács in Hungary. Classic traditional craftsmanship with reduction firing, which gives it the deep, dark surface. Decorated with incised wave pattern and turned bands. Stamped "Mohács SB" on the underside.
NOTE: Great vintage condition, however, there is a small chip on the spout, please see the pictures.
The period of production is probably mid-century.
