Antique original fishing net floats from Northern Norway

Norwegian original and antique glass floats/fishing balls in hollow-blown glass with hand-braided nets. Originally used in fishing as floats on nets, today a decorative maritime object with an authentic look and clear coastal history. From the early 1900s.

The glass balls are hollow and made of mouth-blown glass, in green and amber-colored glass, encased in traditionally hand-braided natural fiber nets with hangers. The net has been washed but still retains its beautiful maritime patina.

Dimensions: Diameter approx. 12–14 cm. Hanging length varies.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related patina. The net is intact with minor wear. The glass is free of cracks and intact.
