Rare and decorative “Cockle” bowl designed by Per Lütken for Royal Copenhagen in 1995 and produced at Holmegaard Glassworks. The bowl is made of machine-blown white glass with characteristic relief of overlapping cockles, creating a striking and organic design language with beautiful play of light.
The model is catalogued at Holmegaard as (ref. no. 435 23 58) and was marketed under the Royal Copenhagen brand around 1995. The bowl is not signed in the glass, which is correct for the series, but was originally provided with a Royal Copenhagen label.
A strong example of Danish glass design from the 1990s, where Per Lütken’s nature-inspired design language is continued in a late production. Suitable as a fruit bowl, centerpiece, or decorative design bowl in Nordic interior design.
Dimensions: diameter 23 cm, height approx. 8 cm.
Weight: approx. 1680 grams.
Condition: Appears in beautiful vintage condition without chips or cracks. Minor signs of use may occur.
