Royal Copenhagen Tenera vase model 1181/658 designed by Kari Christensen, manufactured in Denmark in the 1960s-70s.
The vase is made of earthenware with characteristic Tenera decoration in purple, brown, and blue hues, as well as decorative relief details that give the surface depth and play of light. Form 1181 is known from the Tenera series, where various decorations were applied to the same basic shape.
A beautiful example of Danish mid-century design with a clear graphic expression and craftsmanship quality.
