Russian hand-painted lacquer box made of black lacquered wood or paper-mâché, decorated with a detailed figural motif and executed in genuine gold dust.

The lid features both a title and a signature, or applied in gold dust. The inside is lacquered in a characteristic red color, typical of older Russian lacquer boxes. The box is suitable as a jewelry box, decorative storage, or collector's item.
