Antique faience bowl with knob handle from the mid-19th century, Victorian.
Considered to be England/USA. The bowl has both printed decoration and subsequent hand-colored details.
The motif shows a romantic hunting and landscape scene executed in classic late Victorian style. The varying dots, lines and colour fields testify to handwork and give a vibrant, hand-painted expression, characteristic of the period. Appears as an authentic piece of antique pottery, with craquelure which is usual due to age.

Condition: Used, antique condition with age-appropriate cracking in the glaze and normal signs of age and use. Sold as a decorative collector's item. The color is slightly matted at the knob handle.
