Scandinavian highball / ice water glass with air bubble at the bottom - 1970s

Vintage highball or ice water glass in clear glass with a solid bottom and decorative air bubble.

The glass has a classic cylindrical shape with a heavy bottom, where the air bubble is encapsulated in the glass mass. This type of construction is often seen in Scandinavian bar and restaurant glasses from the 1960s-70s, where the solid bottom provides both stability and a characteristic visual expression.

The bubble varies slightly in size and location between the glasses, which is typical of mold-blown glass from the period.

The glass is perfect as a water glass, long drink glass or classic highball glass and goes well with a vintage bar or table setting.
