Søholm Blå Granit coffee cup and saucer – blue-brown stoneware

Classic coffee cup with saucer from Søholm in the well-known Blå Granit (Blue Granite) series. Made of sturdy stoneware with deep blue glaze and brown rim, and characteristic relief decoration on the cup. An iconic Danish design from the mid-20th century, suitable for coffee or tea and beautiful when combined with other pieces from the series. Designed by Maria Philippi and Jürgen C. Bote in 1965.

• Cup: diameter approx. 9 cm, height approx. 5.5 cm
• Saucer: diameter approx. 15 cm, height approx. 2.2 cm

Condition: Good vintage condition. The cup appears nice. The saucer shows some visible wear in the glaze, especially in the central area and outer edges. No cracks or chips.
