Asymmetrical large heavy glass bowl from Holmegaard Glasværi blue-tinted glass, designed and signed by Per Lütken in 1959.

Beautiful and distinctive, and rare bowl, in mouth-blown blue-tinted glass designed and signed by Holmegaard's well-known designer Per Lütken for Holmegaard. Signed at the bottom: Holmegaard – Per Lütken (PL) – 1959.

The bowl has an elegant, slightly asymmetrical shape with a softly undulating edge and a centrally drawn foot, which gives a floating expression. The blue-toned glass shimmers beautifully in the light and highlights the organic shape. A classic example of Danish glass art from Lütken's strong period in the late 1950s.
