Sculptural hand-turned ceramic vase in stoneware by Tue Poulsen, Danish ceramist, mid-century.

The vase has a distinctive organic, slightly undulating shape and a beautiful interplay between raw sand-colored stoneware and deep brown glaze with vertical lines. The surface is vibrant and tactile with a clear artisanal touch, and the inside is partially glazed.

A characterful piece of Danish studio ceramics that functions both as a solitary art object and as a vase for dried branches.
