Italian Venetian carnival mask on wooden stick - Jolly mask in porcelain and velvet for wall hanging

TRULY BEAUTIFUL ITALIAN MASK

Presumably Venetian-Italian decorative jester and harlequin-inspired mask in classic carnival style.
The mask has a white face with a gilded eye area and an opulent twisted headdress made of velour and patterned textile, decorated with gold ribbon and peacock feathers. At the bottom, the mask is fitted with a turned wooden handle, making it suitable both as a handheld mask and as a wall decoration.

An eye-catching and theatrical object with clear references to carnival and theatre traditions.
