REALLY BEAUTIFUL ITALIAN MASK

Presumably Venetian-Italian decorative jester and harlequin-inspired mask in classic carnival style.
The mask has a white face with gilded eyes and a sumptuous twisted headdress made of velour and patterned textile, decorated with gold ribbons and peacock feathers. At the bottom, the mask is mounted with a turned wooden handle, making it suitable both as a handheld mask and as a wall decoration.

An eye-catching and theatrical object with clear references to carnival and theater tradition.
