Beautiful bridal basket/glass bowl - Art Nouveau inspired

Beautiful hand-blown bridal basket, confectionery bowl, or decorative basket in satin-matte opal glass with a wavy, crimped rim in dark amethyst purple, transitioning to pink.

The bowl has an applied black glass handle, foot, and base. The bottom has a ground pontil mark, indicating it is hand-blown.

The glass is likely opaline glass with a satin-matte surface and color graduation from pink to amethyst. The shape and execution are inspired by Art Nouveau, and the bowl is likely from the first half of the 20th century.
