Charming vintage salt and pepper shakers in glazed form, depicting two plump black and white cows with flower wreaths.
The design is very closely aligned with the well-known Omnibus/Omnibus Originals cow figures, also seen marketed under Fitz & Floyd. The shape, proportions, and decoration largely correspond to these models.
However, these particular items are unmarked and lack an original paper label, manufacturer's stamp, or other documentation. Therefore, the manufacturer and series cannot be guaranteed, and "Omnibus?" is indicated as an educated guess, based on my limited knowledge. But they are incredibly cute and perfectly functional.
Both shakers have their original plastic stoppers, which are still intact and fit well.
The condition is vintage/used, but the glaze has age-related/general crazing (craquelure), several minor glaze chips, and general signs of use. No visible repairs or through cracks are present.
A cozy and decorative set for the kitchen or collection, which would fit well into country, retro, and vintage decor.
