Indian amber glass jar with metal lid from the 1970s.

Decorative vintage glass container in amber pressed glass mounted in patinated metal with lid. The distinctive melon-shaped glass shape was popular in decorative tableware in the 1960s and 1970s and was used for small jars, potpourri and storage.

The warm amber color gives a nice retro look and makes the jar suitable for jewelry, small items or as a decorative vintage object.
